1. Using the Platform
HelpMEConstruct connects clients with independent workers and material suppliers. We are a marketplace, not an employer of workers or an owner of shops. Each party is responsible for the accuracy of their own listings, bids, and quotes. You are responsible for holding any work permit, visa, trade licence or other approval that the law in your country requires for the work you offer, post or accept on HelpMEConstruct, and for following local labour laws. HelpMEConstruct does not employ workers or check every permit; a "Verified" badge only means we checked the documents shown.
2. Payments
Project payments happen directly between the client and the hired worker or supplier, off-platform. HelpMEConstruct does not hold funds in escrow; both parties are encouraged to agree on payment milestones before work begins.
3. Verification
A verified badge indicates a user has completed our identity or business verification steps. It does not constitute a guarantee of work quality, and clients should still review portfolios, ratings, and past reviews before hiring.
4. Conduct & Disputes
Users are expected to communicate professionally and honor agreed terms. Disputes between clients, workers, or suppliers should first be raised through in-app messaging; unresolved issues can be escalated to our support team for review.
5. Content & Conduct Rules
You must not post, send or upload anything that is spam; a scam or fraud (including asking for payment outside an agreed job or order to cheat someone); harassment, bullying or threats; hate speech or content that attacks people for who they are; sexual or sexually suggestive content; violence or content that encourages it; illegal goods or services; or a fake profile or someone else's identity. This applies to profiles, photos, job posts, prices, quotes, reviews, voice notes and messages. You can report any user or content from inside the app and block anyone you do not want to hear from. We review reports and may hide content, remove listings, or suspend or close accounts that break these rules. The person you report is not told who reported them.
6. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time as the platform evolves. Continued use of HelpMEConstruct after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
